What’s Happening?
Kenya Power has announced an emergency system maintenance scheduled for:
- Date: Friday, 30th May 2025
- Time: 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM (Midnight)
This maintenance is necessary to improve system stability and service reliability for customers.
Affected Services
During the maintenance window, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:
- Prepaid token purchases
- Bill payments
- Self-service platforms:
- *977# USSD service
- MyPower App
What Customers Should Do
- Plan ahead to avoid last-minute token purchases or bill payments during the outage.
- Normal services will resume immediately after maintenance concludes.
